The quickest and most effective way to get customers on board is to use direct email. Email however is tricky.

If you want to build our own email lists there are a number of products out that will allow you to do that without much trouble. Most offer an auto-responder facility.

So what is an optin-email list? These types of lists are where people choose to be on your email list. Basically they are giving you permission to send them email. You own the email list therefore you manage the email list.

A good example of the use of an optin-email system would be if your send out regular newsletters and updates to customers. Or, if you are giving away a digital product or even selling a digital product. The auto-responder then automates everything.

So if you are asleep your emails still respond to the recipient.

Really optin-email and auto-responders go hand in hand. They are a very powerful tool to build your business with as personal emails invariably provide stronger business income.

You have the choice to download software and manage your email database from your own computer or you can utilise the services of a email/auto-responder provider. The choice will be up to you. We recommend when choosing your email list/auto-responder software or provider you weigh up the options and costs according to what you plan to do with them.

For example a web-base auto-responder gives you the advantage of being available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to send your emails automatically. We recommend you ensure this type of auto-responder allows you to download your mailing list as a backup. This is our auto-responder of choice as it fits our lifestyle and business perfectly. 

A software based auto-responder resides on your computer or server. This is the ultimate control for users and is highly recommended if you can leave your computer/server connected to the internet 24 hours a day.

If you don't have optin leads that you manage effectively you run the risk of being reported for spamming. This section provides you with what is called safelist emailing. All the services we use are with safelists and that means no spamming because everybody on that safelist want to hear from you. What is more safelists are really inexpensive to use and are really quick and easy to use. We recommend you use more than one safelist to increase your business awareness quickly.

These are different to optin auto-responders. What a bulk email allows is thousands of emails to be sent either through your ISP (though not advisable) or via a server with your bulk email provider. The idea of a bulk emailer is for you to send email to those on your database generally already customers. Or, you can use them to send once only emails from qualified purchased leads that do not constitute spam.
